Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakaria, one of the NPP Parliamentary candidates for Yendi; who doubles as the Deputy MASLOC CEO is found this morning at Yendi SHS, sharing MASLOC money to some selected women (delegates) for personal gains.
This gesture comes at a time, she is seeking their votes to represent the NPP in the Yendi Constituency.
This was done without recourse to the SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOLS as was announced by the President on 16th March, 2020.
This is how Ghana’s money is shared by some self-seeking individuals(appointees) of government. Meanwhile, health workers are crying for PPE’S to enhance their fight against Covid-19 for lack of money. But a candidate can get money and share to women for her personal gain, under the cover of being MASLOC Deputy CEO.
Ghana’s purse is bleeding!

What is the difference between some one bribing people with money for votes, and some one who gives money to a personnel officer for a job, are they breaking any law or is it free in Ghana. Where does a prospective MP get such an amount to distribute if there was no way of one getting it back thousands fold. This is Golden word of corruption in high level, but it is not corruption if it comes from the high level. A police officer doing a dangerous job daily collects two cedis from a driver and the whole world brakes loose, What a fair society. Corruption it seems starts from the top, Its a shame if our MPs condone this practice, or do they all do the same..thing..
