The Minister of Communication, Mrs Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, has shut down an MTN office at Dansoman for failing to put in place social-distancing measures in dealing with customers in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a Facebook post, Mrs Owusu-Ekuful said the office will not be opened until they have better arrangements in place to observe social-distancing.
“This is the scene at the MTN office at Dansoman Zodiac right now. Absolutely no respect for social-distancing. They have been shut down and will not be allowed to operate till they have better arrangements in place. A reputable corporate organisation like this should not be flouting the law and creating conditions for the virus to spread,” her post read.
